Neverending

Journal Entry: Mon Feb 1, 2010, 5:59 AM
Every time I get one thing fixed something else isn't working. I found a bunch of malware and virus's on my new computer. I'm not sure if they came from my new computer or if they were on my external drive. Finally got rid of them though, and as soon as I try and open Poser I get an error message saying "dlg_pythonpalette.xml is missing. Poser will exit now". Ugh. I of course can't find the disk I backed it up on. Sent Smith Micro an email asking for my download to be reset but they refuse. They said I should have bought "extended download service" two years ago when I purchased the program. They are no help whatsoever. I realize Poser is pretty cheap compared to some programs, but I think when you spend that kind of money you should be able to download your purchase whenever you like. Can it really be that difficult for them to reset it??

Showing off my mini me some more, drool and all! She has 2 little teeth now :D

Yeah when you spend hundreds of dollars on software you'd think they'd be happy to let you download copies of it when-ever you needed to. I mean the sites like Renderosity and DAZ where you purchase models let you reset your downloads FOREVER and you don't pay nearly the same amount. Another reason for me to be afraid of Poser. :O

Cute baby though. :D

Pity Poser belongs to SMITHMICRO and not some other company like Daz. You can reset your downloads at Daz. If you have the serial number then you can probably find trial version or something

Yes. I loathe them :p E Frontier were always much more helpful. I buy the majority of my toys at Daz. Just don't use the program. I tried it years ago but had a graphics card problem then and ended up using Poser.

Awww, she's adorable :) As for Poser, I agree with you about the reset thing, that's just ridiculous, it annoyed me to see that when I bought p7. As for your problem with poser though, it Might be fixable by just installing new version of Python.
